Free Speech Groups Fight Internet Censorship; Breitbart Pretends to While Actually Doing the Opposite


Free speech groups like the Electronic Frontier Foundation are building support for the Congressional Review Act, a piece of legislation aimed at preserving net neutrality:




Meanwhile, with astonishing gumption, Breitbart is hoodwinking its followers into actually supporting Internet censorship by falsely claiming the CRA is "legislation that would exempt Facebook and Google from any obligation to protect consumers online" (as you can read at https://freeourinternet.org/). They're actually using the issue of Silicon Valley censorship (misrepresented as exclusively affecting conservatives) to get people to campaign against their own freedom of speech.
