In a statement, CAIR-NY Executive Director Afaf Nasher said:
“Attempting to poison children is a level of evil that anyone with a basic sense of morality cannot begin to fathom. We welcome the guilty plea in this disturbing case and call on law enforcement authorities to crack down on such violent individuals and networks. We stand in solidarity with our Jewish neighbors and all others targeted by these demonic groups.”
She noted that CAIR-NY previously welcomed a federal grand jury’s four-count indictment charging the perpetrator with soliciting hate crimes and acts of mass violence in New York City.
