Krystal Ball fears catastrophe, as do many of us. The way to prevent it is not to let either Biden or Trump win the election. And the way to do that is to offer an alternative that appeals equally to those on the left and the right, so it's not seen as a spoiler -- an alternative that actually models collaboration, not polarization across ideological lines.
