Hours later, Anthropic’s own head of alignment science agreed with him in writing, and put the risk of AI killing every human being at better than one in ten.
Contact Congress Our politicians have been asleep at the wheel. This race has been running for years and only now are they waking up. Members in both parties spent this week demanding action, but that will not hold without you holding them to their newfound concern. So tell yours what you expect of them, ask that they:
1. Speak publicly in support of legislation.
2. Push for hearings on superintelligence.
3. Take a briefing from ControlAI, so they understand just how dangerous this technology is.
