One reader's rave

"Thanks for the newspaper with your book review. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with this terrific piece of writing. It is beautiful, complex, scholarly. Only sorry Mr. Freire cannot read it!" -- Ailene

Emergency Action for Gaza on Monday @ 30th Street Station (Philadelphia)

Peacemakers,

Fridays @ Fetterman’s urges you to join Philly Families for Ceasefire and other Philadelphia peace & justice organizations for an Emergency Action to demand an end to Israel’s US-funded campaign to starve the civilian population in Gaza.

Bring pots and pans to bang in a collective action to sound the alarm that Gaza is starving. Our tax dollars are being used to enforce a food blockade aimed at coercing the Palestinian civilian population into open air concentration camps.
Monday, July 28, 2025 @ 5 pm
30th Street Station in Philadelphia

Meet at Angel Statute on the East Side of the Station

Organizers will have some ear plugs available but you may want to bring your own, as the action will be very loud
