One reader's rave

"Thanks for the newspaper with your book review. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with this terrific piece of writing. It is beautiful, complex, scholarly. Only sorry Mr. Freire cannot read it!" -- Ailene

Capitalism in a Nutshell

Or in this case a dumpster. A workers' government would put human needs first: food for the hungry, housing for the homeless, vaccines for all. But to get a workers' government, we first of all need a workers' party. Right now we just have two capitalist (major) parties. Let's hope it isn't long before some sizeable segment of the labor movement kicks the "blue" habit and joins with groups like the People's Party and the Greens to run workers' candidates in politically amenable districts.
